Scientific sections and working groups
Section leaders and DGP board at the 2024 congress in Mannheim
The scientific sections prepare guidelines, recommendations and other publications, draw up statements and design the conference program. In addition, working groups are attached to the scientific sections and complement their tasks. Thematically related sections are currently linked in five assemblies with different focuses.
All full and corresponding members of the DGP as well as honorary members can work in up to three scientific sections. Members can choose which sections and working groups they join after logging in to the personal area of the website under "Sections & Working Groups" or inform the DGP office (info@pneumologie.de).
